Timber Products at the 2021 NAWLA Trader’s Market
The 2021 NAWLA Traders Market occured at the Kentucky International Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky on November 10-12, 2021. Similar to the NBMDA show, attendance for the Traders Market was down from 2019. Despite the reduced attendance, the show attendees were glad to meet in-person with business partners for the first time since the pandemic began.
“Overall the Traders Market was a great opportunity to reengage with customers we hadn’t seen in the past two years,” said Pat Lynch, VP of Sales.
“Attending NAWLA this year gave us the opportunity to reconnect with many people,” said Alicia Powell, Medford Sales Manager. “While pricing and supply chain have caused significant concerns, everyone was extremely positive about the future, their markets, and what they had been able to accomplish during such a trying period.”
On the logistics side of business, Tom Gennarelli, VP of TP Logistics & Trucking, participated in a panel on trucking issues affecting the wood products industry. Gennarelli provided the audience with tangible ideas that they could use to improve their access to transportation, including working with TP Logistics.
